State of Kansas, Town of Paola, Miami County. Born in Miami County, Kansas. Aged seventeen years, and by occupation farmer. Volunteered March 31, 1864 to serve as a soldier in the Army of the United States of America. Notes that Michael M. Geboe has "chestnut eyes, black hair, dark complexion, is five feet, six inches high."
